Launched on Monday, October 13, it displays various copies of the Holy Book including one weighing 10 kilograms, another being 8 meters long and another copy dating back to 722 years ago, Jahina website reported.
According to Ali Abdulah al-Muqabqab, director of the expo, it also features translations of the Quran in different languages, Quran copies in Braille for the visually-impaired, as well as Quranic artworks and historical data-x-items and pieces of jewelry on which Quranic verses have been inscribed.
He said the expo also has a special section in which visitors learn about how old copies of the Quran are repaired and protected.
