Book on Shia Theology Published in Iraq

A book titled “Turathana” (our heritage) on Shia theological issues has been published by “Al-ul-Bait Li Ihya Al-Turath” Institute in Iraq.


According to IQNA’s branch in West Asia, the 495-page book introduces some eminent Shia scholars in various periods of history and investigates scientific and religious aspects of their lives.

The book also discusses theological principles in Shia school of thought.

Allameh Hilli, a Shia theologian and source of emulation, Seyyed Sharafuddin Ameli, and Abdul Rahman ibn Abi Laila are among the figures introduced in the book.

It also covers discussions on the compilation of the Holy Quran and theories on distortion of Quran.
