Guinea Bissau Former President Converts to Islam

-- Former president of Guinea Bissau Kumba Yala has converted to the enlightening religion of Islam.

Thousands of Muslims from around Guinea Bissau went to Gabu, 200 kilometers from the capital Bissau, to take part in the conversion ceremony.
After embracing the enlightening religion of Islam, Yala changed his name to Mohammad Yala Mbalu.
Yala Mbalu is set to run in the next campaign for presidential elections in Guinea Bissau.
