New Book Discusses Human Psychology from Quranic Viewpoint

--“The Quran and Psychology” is a new book featuring Quranic verses from which facts about human psychology can be derived.
Published by the Daro-sh-Shoruq Publications in Cairo, Egypt, the 319-page book looks into Quranic verses to depict a clear picture of human psyche and his individual and social behaviors.
“There are numerous verses in the holy Quran pertaining to the nature of human beings and their behaviors. There are even references to mental illnesses and their treatments,” the author, Mohammad Uthman Nijati writes in the book.
Quran therapy, spiritual and mental benefits of fasting, Zakat (tithing), prayers, repentance, and Hajj in the Quran are among the themes discussed in this book.
Written in Arabic, “The Quran and Psychology” has 10 chapters and is among the latest titles published by the Daro-sh-Shoruq Publications.
