News on Imam Musa Sadr’s Fate Baseless

A member of the presiding board of Lebanon's Amal Movement has dismissed recent allegations regarding Imam Musa Sadr’s fate.
According to Almenar website, Khalil Hamdan has described the recent released information by media on Imam Musa Sadr’s life as false and baseless urging prompt action on the issue in order to prevent its recurrence.
He added that officials are looking into the event with the aim of clarifying the issue.
Hamdan also stressed that Sadr’s abduction is a universal issue related to all freedom-seekers of the world noting that Lebanon has launched full-scale investigation into the issue.
He further called on the Media to adopt a more cautious approach towards the matter and do not hurt the feelings of Sadr’s family by releasing false news.
Earlier some sources claimed that missing Lebanese Shia cleric Imam Musa Sadr was killed on Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi’s order.
