Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh criticized Arab states’ stance on the continued siege on the Gaza Strip, saying some Arab regimes are conspiring with the Zionist regime to intensify the blockade.
Speaking in the funeral of three Palestinian children killed in Gaza by the Zionist forces, Haniyeh accused some Arab countries of involvement in the atrocities against Gaza residents.
He held the Zionist regime responsible for the human tragedy in Gaza and said, “As a result of the land, sea and air siege on Gaza, a human catastrophe has occurred in the area but Israel, backed by the United States, impedes efforts by those who seek to put an end to the catastrophe.”
The Hamas leader reiterated that Palestinian people will not forget those countries that have chosen to remain silent over the atrocities in Gaza.
“The Gaza Strip is like a big prison in which 360 people have so far died due to the Arab countries’ silence over the siege.”
The Zionist regime has put a land, air, and sea blockade on the Gaza Strip since June 2007 and a more severe version of restrictions began in 2001.
