International Conference on Islamic Finance in Brunei

Faculty of Business and Management Sciences (FBMS)Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, Brunei Darussalam is going to organize an International Conference on Islamic Finance.
The conference is going to be held on 15th - 17th May 2012, under the theme of “Islamic Finance: Development, Challenges & Responses”.
The Conference will discuss Shariah Issues in Islamic Banking and Finance; Islamic Financing instruments; Microfinancing schemes and the development of small-medium enterprises; Islamic Capital Market; Financial Engineering, Derivatives and Sukuk; Islamic Financial Planning and Wealth Management; Islamic Accounting, Auditing and Supervision; Corporate Governance and Ethics in Islamic Financial Institutions; Risk Management for Islamic Financial institution and Takaful; Global Financial Issues from Islamic perspective; Zakah and Waqf Management; Human Resources and Development in Islamic Banking and Finance and other related areas in Islamic banking and finance.
Shari’ah Scholars specializing in Mua’malat and Shari’ah advisors in Islamic Banks, Academicians, Islamic Banking and Finance practitioners, Researchers and Graduate Students from different countries will participate in the conference.
The event will be conducted in Malay, Arabic and English.
