A Quran Education Documentary Produced in Tatarstan
A documentary film on Quran education has been produced by Tatarstan Broadcasting.
According to Muslim Affairs Center in the country, the film has been made in the Center for Training Quran Reciters and Memorizers in Qazan with the cooperation of the Islamic University of Russia.
It is planned to be broadcast in a program titled “Treasure for the Soul” on Russia-Tatarstan TV at 9:05 the local time, April 6.
The Quran reciters and memorizers of Tatarstan are currently receiving the required education in the Center for Training Quran Memorizers affiliated with Russia Islamic University that was launched in 2003.
Also, the country’s Islamic-Quranic Educational Center for women was inaugurated in 2007 and is now offering related courses to 42 learners.
