Supporting the World’s Oppressed, Iran’s Strategic Stance
The Islamic Republic of Iran is steadfast in its principal strategy of supporting the oppressed nations of the world, a strategy established by the late Imam Khomeini (RA).
This is according to Lebanese thinker Sheikh Ahmed Qatan who also said that the Islamic Iran backs the national rights of all the oppressed nations in their confrontation with the arrogant powers, Al-Alam network reported.
Head of Lebanon’s Qawlana Wa Al-Amal Society referred to the recent statements by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei and said Ayatollah Khamenei’s statements were in contrast to the stances and remarks of Arab leaders who have bowed to Western dominance.
“Hazrat Ayatollah Khamenei as always made clear statements and addressed the viewpoints and hopes of the region’s oppressed nations,” he said, underlining that Imam Khamenei takes into consideration the expedience of all the oppressed nations of the world.
“The supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s recent statements had an important message for the enemies of Iran and all of those who mull over conspiracies against the country,” Sheikh Ahmed Qatan also pointed out.
He went on to say that the US pressures and sanctions against Iran are meant to prevent the Islamic country from persevering on the path of science and knowledge.
