Moving on Quranic Path Will Turn Threats into Opportunities
Moving on the path of the Holy Quran will turn the enemies’ threats into opportunities for using all the opportunities and empowering the Islamic establishment, an MP said.
In an interview with IQNA, member of the Majlis’ National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Hojat-ol-Islam Hossein Ebrahimi added that resistance against the enemy aggressions is vital for a society that lives under the banner of the Quranic culture.
He referred to the idea of threat-against -threat recently mentioned by Supreme Leader Imam Khamenei and said the Leader talked decisively and firmly against the arrogant powers that have been conspiring against the Islamic system for years and regard themselves to be in charge of the world.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ebrahimi cited the Quranic verse, ‘And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war to threaten the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others besides whom, you may not know but whom Allah does know…’ (8:60), and said Muslims should improve their force and have belief in their power.
The lawmaker stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran is so powerful that the enemies dare not attack it.
“Despite doing everything in their power, such as imposing sanctions, the foes of the Islamic Revolution failed to impede the revolution from advancing. Today, the Islamic Awakening Tide, that has caused the collapse of dependent and despotic regimes, is heralds the ultimate victory of the Muslim Ummah.”
He also said that Muslims must move ahead in all fields including scientific, cultural, political, etc in order to counter the threats posed by the enemies.
