According to IQNA’s correspondent, it is organized by Tehran Shahid Beheshti University’s Quran and Etrat Center with the purpose of promoting the level of Quranic activities in cyberspace and encouraging university students to share their related works.
Students willing to participate in the festival are required to send their works to the secretariat of the event in text formats including poems or literary excerpts, articles and research papers, memories, multimedia files, or photo blogs, podcasts and videotexts by May 5.
Some of the suggested topics include Quran, Etrat and Modern Sciences such as: medicine, management, astronomy, history, etc.; Quranic messages including unity, benevolence, respecting parents, perseverance, saying prayer, charity, Hijab, etc; Quran and social justice; Quranic teachings and society; ethics in the Quran; Quranic culture and family; interaction with the Quran among children and the youth; Quran and proper education; Quran and life; Quranic stories; as well as Quranic memories and poems.
Quran and prophets; Quran translators and interpreters; Quran reciters and memorizers; Quran and sacred books; Quran in famous quotes; features of Quranic verses; man’s image in the Quran; Quran, Hijab and fashion; Quranic prayers; Quranic teachings in Quranic centers and institutes; Quran and Ahlul-Bayt (AS); Quranic graphic works; Quranic songs and clips; Quranic library; Quranic proverbs; Quranic short messages and Quranic humors are among other themes of the festival.
The center is also planning to organize a number of educational workshops on the sideline of the festival to provide students with technical training on blogging.
