Speaking at the international congress of “Quds, History and Hope”, Khaled Mash’al, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, stressed that the liberation of Quds requires a lot of effort and sacrifices.
“Palestine has witnessed a great deal of sacrificial endeavors throughout history to maintain its Islamic and Arabic identity,” he went on to say.
“Our true policy cannot be determined without considering Quds, and the Zionist Regime is unable to prevent us from restoring this holy place.”
Stressing the necessity of keeping national solidarity in Palestine, he urged all the Arabic and Islamic nations to feel responsible for what is going on in Quds, and try to liberate the city as a heritage for all Muslims.
The fourth international congress of Quds titled “Quds, History and Hope” was held by the World Union of Muslim Scholars with the presence of Hemas members, secretary general of the union and a number of freedom-seeking Palestinians.
