According to IQNA's branch in Central Asia, the website was launched on April 4 with the aim of promoting the Islamic teachings and getting the Uzbek Muslims further acquainted with Islamic principles.
It provides information about various Islamic and jurisprudential issues as well as Fatawa and Islamic injunctions.
The plan for launching such a website was developed by Sheikh Mohammad Sadeq Mohammad Yusuf, former Mufti in Central Asia and the Republic of Kazakhstan, who is also an eminent Uzbek interpreter of the holy Quran and a member of the World Association of Muslim Scholars.
Great jurisprudents in Islam and their reliable scientific works and scientific activities of the contemporary jurisprudents have also been provided by the website.
Muslims and Uzbek-speaking individuals can visit the website at www.fiqh.uz for further information on new academic discussions on Islamic jurisprudence.
