Developing Insight, Main Feature of Hazrat-e Zahra’s (SA) Political Life
Hazrat-e Zahra (SA) is a perfect role model for everyone in all aspects of life and her political life was devoted to developing the insight of those who were going astray in the darkness of ignorance.
This is according to Laleh Eftekhari, Head of the Majlis' Quran and Etrat Fraction, who also told IQNA that Hazrat-e Zahra’s (SA) life and character can be followed by all men and women in all aspects of their individual and social life.
“Hazrat-e Zahra (SA) was a perfect character in her individual life as a devoted wife and mother, her socio-political life through her interactions with the people and particularly women of Medina as well as her religious life manifested in her pure prayers and elevated spirituality,” she went on to say.
“The most important feature of her political life can be seen in her sacrificial endeavors to guide those who were misled by wrong teachings of the time, increasing their insight about true Islam and Islamic doctrines.”
Eftekhari further said that “Political activity in Islam can be pursued by both men and women and Hazrat-e Zahra’s political life (SA) can be regarded as a principal witness to this issue, as she was both aware of the Divine knowledge and active in the realm of politics.”
“Her brave attempt to defend Imam Ali (AS) as the best source of Velayat (Leadership) can be a practical model which was actually in accordance with the Prophet’s (PBUH) calling on people to resort to the Quran and Etrat,” she added.
