This is according to Adel Peyghami, academic board member of Imam Sadeq (AS) University, who also told IQNA that grand Ayatollah Sadr played a major role in the path to establishment of the Islamic government.
He said Martyr Sadr was among the prominent figures who provided a Fiqhi (jurisprudential) foundation for the establishment of Islamic government, as well as Fiqhi designs for building society and civilization.
Peyghami said at a time when the Islamic seminaries was entering a new phase in its history and took on modern issues in different categories of Fiqh (social, political, economic and government), Ayatollah Sadr’s role in the Seminary of Najaf was exemplary.
His contributions to Fiqh and seminaries were not limited to his book on economy (Iqtisaduna), but he contributed greatly to the revival of seminaries and Islamic thought, the Imam Sadeq (AS) University scholar underlined.
Peyghami regretted that the ideas and thoughts of Martyr Sadr are not promoted sufficiently and his works are not available to researchers.
