Following Quranic Guidelines Brings Immunity against Diseases

Obeying the guidelines of the Holy Quran helps to provide man with immunity against all diseases university scholar said.
Speaking to IQNA, Hojat-ol-Islam Faqfour Maghrebi, academic board member of Shahid Beheshti University, said in the Quran some 180 behaviors have been attributed to the faithful and disbelievers are characterized with 150 to 160 attributes. “Paying attention to these attributes and acting accordingly [trying to attain the characteristics attributed to the faithful and avoid those with which disbelievers are identified] will immune us against diseases.”
He further referred to the behavioral and psychological problems people face, and said according to the Quran, remembrance of God will bring about peace of mind. “Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (Quran, 13:28)
Hojat-ol-Islam Maghrebi said the Holy Quran has also cited solutions, including Taqwa, for emotional and spiritual problems.
The university scholar pointed to marriage, Sele Arham (visiting relatives), saying prayer, and exercising fortitude and patience as other Quranic recommendations that will ensure psychological and social health.
