“Unity and Islamic Awakening” Seminar Planned in India

A seminar on “Unity and Islamic Awakening” will be held on April 12 by India’s Muslim United Front in Lucknow District of Uttar Pradesh State.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, Gandhi Hall will host the program planned in line with reinforcing Muslim unity and getting the world acquainted with the issue of Islamic awakening.
The seminar will be attended by Shia and Sunni scholars and intellectuals as well as a number of Muslim citizens.
It is due to be addressed by Hojat-ol-Islam Sadeq, Indian Shia intellectual who will talk about Islamic awakening and Muslims’ economic situation.
Salman Nadwi, Javad Naqawi, Zaki Baqeri, Fadh-ul-Rahman Nadwi, Arshad Hussein, Seyyed Shoukat Abedi, Aziz Heydar and Azem Hussein will be among other speakers at the program.
They will respectively elaborate on unity in Islam, preservation and promotion of Islamic heritage, Muslims’ duties in India, Islamic ethics, duties of authors active in Islamic fields, influence of foreign cultures on Muslims’ thoughts, role of Muslims in politics and Muslims’ rights in India as the major themes of the event.
