Regrettably, in the past weeks we have witnessed crimes against Shi’ites by the radical Takfiri and Wahabi groups in Pakistan, the statement said.
It added that these groups have posed serious challenges to the unity and might of the Islamic Ummah by fomenting discord and division through killing Muslims.
“Now that the Islamic Awakening Tide has spread in the Islamic world and calls everyone to unity and solidarity against arrogant powers and their stooges, Muslims must be vigilant against the ominous schemes of the enemies more than before.”
It stressed that clashes between Shia and Sunni Muslims would only waste Islamic Ummah’s might. “It seems that the religious and rational approach of proximity among Islamic schools of thought is the most efficient way to confront the radical and Takfiri approach of Wahabism.”
The Instructors Society of Qom’s Seminary extended condolences to the families of the victims and called on Pakistan’s government to take immediate and decisive measures to prevent such crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Tens of Shi’ites have been killed and many more wounded in recent attacks staged by radical Wahabi groups in Pakistan.
