On the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat-e Fatemeh Zahra (SA), all Tehran’s mosques and seminaries are scheduled to hold mourning ceremonies.
This is according to Hojat-ol-Islam Nasehi, head of Tehran Municipality’s Religious Activities Center, who told IQNA that some 1000 mosques and seminaries will play host to the mourning ceremonies.
Pointing to the lofty status and character of Hazrat-e Zahra (SA), he said that the ceremonies will be held to mark the martyrdom anniversary of the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and pay homage to the holy Household.
He added that it is incumbent upon all Shais to mourn such an occasion for the Supreme Leader Imam Khamenei and sources of emulation have repeatedly attached importance to commemoration of it.
Referring to the activities of the Center, Tehran Mayor’s advisor said that, “the center plans to promote the culture of Efaf (virtue) and Hijab in the city by resorting to the teachings of the Quran and Islam as well as implementing various Quranic plans”.
Hojat-ol-Islam Nasehi went on to say that so far more than 20000 copies of a book titled “Fatemeh (SA) Is A Part of My Flesh” have been distributed among the city’s mosques and Quranic centers to fulfill the obligation.
