20 Specialized Quran Memorization Centers to Be Set up

Head of the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization said 20 specialized centers for memorization of the Holy Quran will be established in different parts of the country.
Mehdi Qarasheikhlu, who is in Ardebil, in an interview with IQNA’s Ardebil branch also said there are plans for training 120,000 Quran memorizers.
Pointing to the Supreme Leader Imam Khamenei’s instructions about training 10 million memorizers, he said government bodies should assist the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization to make it happen.
Qarasheikhlu said the organization plans to organize two Quran memorization workshops and hold a competition in the holy month of Ramadan to encourage people to learn a Juz (part) of the Quran by heart.
Setting up a data bank of containing information about the country’s Quran memorizers are among other plans of the organization, he said.
On printing the Quran, he said all the facilities, equipment and manpower needed for Quran printing are available in the country, adding, however, that the standard of Quran printing should be elevated.
