Moscow Int'l Halal Exhibit to Be Held in June
III Moscow Halal Expo 2012 is scheduled to be held on June 7-10, 2012, at All-Russian Exhibition Center.
It is organized by Russia Muftis Council with the support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Government of Moscow.
The vigorous growth of the halal economic sector of most countries in the world, including Russia, provided an impetus for idea to arrange Moscow International Halal Exhibition, conceived and successfully implemented for the first time in 2010 by Russia Muftis Council.
The experience of the first exhibition has shown that Moscow Halal Expo is a unique platform for producers and distributors of halal food, manufactured goods and services, for investors and entrepreneurs to present themselves at Moscow, Russian and world markets, to exchange experience and build new business relations.
The third Exhibition is going to be even more attractive and interesting: in addition to the traditional exhibition activities and the Business forum, the program will include the Festival and Master-classes on preparing national cuisines of Muslim nations from Russia and foreign countries, tasting contest "The Best Halal Product", competition among the exhibitors for the best booth, presentation of investment projects, as well as many other innovations.
More than 150 companies representing Halal industry from different Russian regions, as well as from the foreign countries such as Malaysia, Iran, Turkey, United Kingdom, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, etc. are expected to participate at the Exhibition.
The Exhibition is aimed to draw attention to the production and distribution of Halal products and services; Expand markets for Halal products; Contribute to the development of Islamic business and finance; Foster the development of ethical principles in business and production; Exchange of experience in the field of Islamic finance; Strengthen business relations between Russia and Muslim countries; Exchange of experience in Halal certification and mutual recognition of Halal certificates and Contribute to the formation of Islamic cultural platform.
Business program of Moscow Halal Expo 2012 includes Business Forum "Islamic Business and Finance: Theory and Practice"; Presentation of investment projects; Forum "Halal certification in Russia and abroad"; Forum "Social projects and charity practices" and Meeting of Islamic Business Club.
Moscow Halal Expo 2012 also has a cultural program which includes Festival and master-classes on preparing national cuisine of Muslim nations from Russia and foreign countries; Islamic fashion show; Tasting Competition "The Best Halal-product of the year"; Competition among the exhibitors along manifold nominations (visitors participate at the voting) and • Master classes on drawing Shamails and Tugra, henna painting and the art of Muslim wearing.
