According to IQNA’s correspondent in Kuwait, Reza Golshahi, a 14-year-old Iranian teenager, won the third rank in the recitation category of the contest based on the decision of the jury panel.
top winners of the event were announced on April 18 at the closing ceremony of the contest.
Some 140 individuals from 70 countries were present at the event and competed with each other on recitation, Tajweed, and memorization of the holy Quran. The first five top winners were awarded.
A representative from Morocco won the first rank of contest in recitation category.
In memorization category, participants from Egypt, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia,Libya and Kuwait won the first to fifth ranks, respectively.
It is noteworthy to mention that Kuwait international Quran competition began on April 11 at Bayan Palace.
