Hezbollah Denounces US Troops’ Inhumane Behavior in Afghanistan
Lebanon’s Hezbollah Resistance Movement in a statement condemned US troops’ inhumane treatment of dead Afghan bodies.
The image that the US is presenting of itself as a country that defends human rights and freedom has been proven to be fake by such immoral behaviors, said the statement, as reported by Al-Minar news network.
Referring to a photo published in an American newspaper that shows US troops desecrating Afghan bodies, it said such actions shows that the US government and military disrespect the dignity of human beings.
Hezbollah slammed the barbaric actions and called on Arabs and Muslims as well as other peace-loving nations in the world to be vigilant in the face of the hatred held by US officials and troops towards everyone who opposes their expansionism and domination.
The Los Angeles Times first published photos of US soldiers posing next to Afghan bodies for taking photos.
Afghan President Hamed Karzai has described the incident as abominable.
Earlier this year, video footage emerged of US soldiers insulting Afghan corpses.
