Memorizing the Quran, Most Comprehensive Way for Getting Acquainted with the Divine Book
Learning the Holy Quran by heart is the most comprehensive approach for getting acquainted with the Divine Book, a Dar-ol-Quran Organization official said.
Addressing a ceremony on Thursday April 19, Seyyed Mehdi Bahr-ol-Olum added that one can memorize the Quran by frequently reading the verses and paying attention to the content.
The ceremony was held to launch the 5th semester of the Quran school of the Armed Forces’ Aviation Industries Organization.
He referred to the Supreme Leader’s instructions about the need for training 10 million Quran memorizers in the country and said when the youths are acquainted with the Holy Book, many of the problems will be removed and the society will get immunity against the enemies’ cultural onslaught.
Bahr-ol-Olum noted that the Dar-ol-Quran Organization has considered advantages for those who embark on learning the Quran by heart, adding that many of those who decide to memorize the Quran do so for the spiritual gains not material ones.
