Annual Gathering of French Muslims Planned

The second annual gathering of Rhone-Alpes Regional Council of the Muslim Faith in France will be held on April 28 in Oyonnax.
According to saphirnews website, the program is organized by Rhone-Alpes Regional Council of the Muslim Faith (RMF) in cooperation with Oyonnax Islamic Association.
“Education of Muslim children: problems and solutions” will be the theme of the program in which intellectuals and scholars will elaborate on issues like Islamic teachings, justice in Islam and civil societies, methods of preserving of the Islamic identity in Western countries, maintaining identity of Muslim children and encouraging them to practice religious teachings.
It is reported that Muslims participation and cooperation in most important events taking place in the country and their role in determining the future of France will be investigated at the program as well.
Islamic education at schools and scientific centers in France, construction of new mosques in this country, Islamophobia and the new approaches to introducing Islam to non-Muslim citizens will be among the other themes of the event.
