Iran’s representative in Tatarstan said in the Middle East region, women, while maintaining their dignity, have played an undeniable role in the Islamic Awakening movement, and this is a contemporary manifestation of Fatemi (SA) culture.
Speaking to IQNA on the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA), Parviz Ghassemi added that 14 centuries after Hazrat Zahra’s martyrdom, Muslim women have taken the great lady of Islam as a role model in their life and manifested the Fatemi culture by playing part in the Islamic Awakening movement.
He further pointed to Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) sermons and speeches aimed at drawing Muslims’ attention to the teachings and instructions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and said Muslim media should follow the example and reflect the braveries and epical achievements of the people in the Islamic Awakening movement.
Ghassemi stressed that covering the Islamic Awakening Tide is as important as participating in protests and rallies.
He referred to the attempts by hegemonic media outlets to censure or distort news related to the Islamic Awakening Tide and said it makes the responsibility of the Muslim world media to cover the developments even heavier.
