More than 30,000 Iranian pilgrims have traveled from the country to the Land of Revelation via 130 flights, thus completing the stage of dispatching Iranian pilgrims for this year’s Hajj.
Currently, more than 22,000 Iranian pilgrims are in Mecca and the rest of the country’s pilgrims are in Medina.
With the start of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, the city of Medina will be empty of Iranian Hajj pilgrims by the end of this week, and pilgrims in Mecca will prepare themselves to perform the Hajj.
After performing the Hajj rituals, considering that all of Iran’s pilgrims were in Medina first, they will return to the country in several stages beginning on June 1.
