Iranian Nation’s Resolve Is Response to Any Enemy Threats
Member of the Majlis’ Judiciary and Legal Commission said the Iranian nation’s resolve and determination will be the response to any enemy threats.
Speaking to IQNA, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Taqi Rahbar stressed that the nation of Iran has frustrated the enemies by defending the Islamic establishment and Velayat-e Faqih (leadership of the supreme jurist).
He highlighted the power and authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran and said, “The world arrogance tried to hinder the Iranian nation’s progress by imposing an 8-year war against Iran. However, the nation mobilized in self-sacrifice to defend the Islamic establishment.
“In the past three decades, the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran have times and again threatened the Iranian nation and imposed sanctions, but Iranian people’s presence on the scenes proved their threats and sanctions to be futile.”
Pointing to the “Threat vis-à-vis Threat” initiative, recently mentioned by the Supreme Leader, Hojat-ol-Islam Rahbar reiterated that hostile threats have failed to undermine the resolve of the Iranian nation. “Today, given our power and authority in all dimensions, it is necessary that we respond to enemy threats using our potentials.”
He said the Iranian nation, with a spirit of faith and hope, has made significant accomplishments in recent years and achieved independence in various arenas, including the use of peaceful nuclear technology.
The lawmaker also said that the Iranian nation is a model of resistance and steadfastness for the world nations.
He went on to say that maintaining unity is of paramount importance for safeguarding the country’s might and authority. “Since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, people’s unity has saved the Islamic Republic in the face of great dangers and [that is why] the enemies seek to undermine this unity by any means they can.”
