Pir-Gholaman Husseini (AS) to Gather in Ardebil
Pir-Gholaman Husseini (AS) (veteran servants of ceremonies held to commemorate Imam Hussein (AS) martyrdom) will convene in Ardebil next month.
The northwestern city of Ardebil will host the 10th International Conference of Pir-Gholaman Husseini (AS) on November 5-9.
Some 800 Iranian and foreign guests will participate in the conference, secretary of the event Ebrahim Taheri said on Monday.
The secretary added that those attending the conference will be from 5 continents of the world.
He said Pir-Gholaman Husseini (AS) who are invited to the gathering are at least 70 years old, and have in memory at least 2000 stanzas of elegies about the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS).
Taheri added that 15 Iranian and 15 foreign Pir-Gholaman Husseini (AS) will be honored at the ceremony.
He said the previous editions of the conference were held in Tehran, Hamedan, Bushehr and Zanjan, predicting a magnificent conference this year due to Ardebil citizen’s deep devotion to Imam Hussein (AS).
