Zarnushe Farahani Representing Iran at Sudan’s 4th Int’l Quran Competition

The 4th edition of Sudan’s International Holy Quran Competition kicked off in the capital city of Khartoum on January 7.
According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, Hassan Zarnushe Farahani is attending the contest as the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He secured the third rank in the international Quran contest in Tunisia last year.
53 memorizers of the Holy Quran from different countries are attending Sudan’s Quran competition, which is held with the support of Sudanese President Hassan Al-Bashir.
The competition will be running until Friday, January 11, at the central building of Sudan’s Holy Quran Society in Khartoum.
The three top winners of the event will be awarded and the next seven title winners will receive certificates of honor.
