Enemies Seek to Undermine Axis of Resistance
What is going on in Syria is a world war against the axis of resistance, a Hezbollah official said.
In a statement, Sheikh Nabil Qawuq, deputy of Hezbollah’s executive council, said the enemies seek to undermine the axis of resistance and secure Israel by plotting against Syria, Al-Misriyun daily reported.
He said Israel, the United States and their cronies in Lebanon, Syria and the region have conspired to destroy Syria and weaken the resistance movement in order to pave the way for a new Israeli aggression in the region.
Sheikh Nabil Qawuq underlined, however, that the enemies have failed in their conspiracies two years since the start of the crisis in Syria.
Sayyid Ibrahim Amin Al-Sayyid, head of Hezbollah’s political council, has also said that what is happening in Syria is aimed at destroying or dividing the country.
He said the Syrian nation are against division, but there are some elements within the country who want are playing in the hands of the enemies and see no problem in Syria becoming divided.
