Speaking to IQNA’s Qom branch, he underlined the need for a unified approach to teaching the Quran, adding that there is no systematic approach in the field.
Mr. Parhizgar said even the best sciences should be presented in a systemic and methodical way in order to be effective. “This indicates the significance of adopting appropriate methods for teaching the Quran.”
He said the existence of various Quran instruction methods confuses the learners as well as the teachers.
There should be a reassessment of the current methods used in teaching the Quran, he underscored.
Asked whether he is for or against using new technologies in Quran education, Parhizagr said using of new technologies can be helpful in learning the Quran but cautioned that it should be done properly.
