Neglecting the Spiritual Dimension, West’s Problem: Majlis Speaker
Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said the West’s problem today is neglecting the spiritual dimension in people’s life.
He made the remark while paying a visit to the mausoleum of Imamzadeh Hilal Ibn Ali (AS) in Aran and Bidgol, central Iran on Saturday.
The Majlis speaker added that according to the teachings of the Quran, humanity’s salvation lies in both prosperity in this world and the world to come.
He said extremism and focusing only on of the two dimensions of human life (spiritual and material) is not acceptable in Islam.
Larijani also pointed to the conspiracies against the Islamic Iran and said the enemies seek to fight against the accomplishments the country through different cultural, political, and economic ways.
He said Iran’s progresses and capabilities have hindered the United States’ evil policies in the Middle East, adding that Iran’s defending Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement and the people of Gaza, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq against the American oppression indicates that Tehran is against its anti-human rights policies.
