Islamic Arts on Display in Karachi

An Exhibition of Islamic arts has been held since January 13 at Karachi Expo Center, Pakistan.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, the opening ceremony of the exhibition was held with the participation of Kalimullah Lashari, Pakistan’s Deputy Minister of Culture in Sindh Province.
Islamic painting and calligraphy by Jamil Hussein, Nadim Zubairi, Mahtab Ali and Nahid Reza, Pakistani artists, have been put on display at the exhibition.
The artworks include paintings of mosques and religious sites of the country such as Badshahi Mosque in Lahore and Faisal Mosque in Islamabad as well as the most famous mosques in other parts of the world.
The three-day exhibition will conclude today, January 15.
