New Islamic Journal Published in Algeria
The first issue of a religious journal titled “Passerelles” (bridges) was published on January 14 in Algiers, Algeria.
According to lexpressiondz website, the Islamic journal has been published by Algerian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science to be distributed at UNESCO Associated Schools in Algeria.
The journal is led by a distinguished editorial board comprised of Noureddine Toualbi-Thaâlibi, Mouloud Achour and Idris Kasmi.
Islamic mysticism, Nabawi Seerah , interfaith dialogue, cultures, isolationism and Islamophobia are the main themes of the magazine.
The preface of the journal by Abdelatif Baba Ahmed, Minister of Education and Chairman of the National Commission for UNESCO, explains the objectives of this institution as to implementing policies to promote the culture of peaceful coexistence.
The articles of the journal have been written in Arabic and French languages.
