Maintaining Unity around Velayat-e Faqih Main Source of Iranian Nation’s Glory
Maintaining unity around the Velayat-e Faqih (leadership of the Supreme Jurist) is the main source of the Iranian nation’s pride, dignity and glory, a member of the Assembly of Experts said.
Speaking in a meeting with members of the mosques’ committees of the Ten-day Fajr (dawn) Headquarters, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami underlined the important status of Velayat-e Faqih in the Islamic Revolution of Iran and said the Iranian people reiterated their allegiance with Velayat with their epical presence on the scene on 9th of Dey (December 31, 2009).
He referred to unity as the major theory of the Islamic Revolution, adding that the Iranian nation achieved glory by maintaining unity and solidarity based on the guidelines set by the Vali Faqih.
Ayatollah Khatami underlined that the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini (RA) urged the nation to support the Velayat-e Faqih so as to prevent any harm to the country.
He referred to the upcoming presidential elections and said the Iranian nation will renew allegiance with Velayat-e Faqih and give a crushing response to the enemies by their revolutionary presence in the elections scene.
