Using Islamic Awakening Capacities for Enhancing Unity Diplomacy
The capacities and potentials of the Islamic Awakening should be used to enhance the diplomacy of unity, a political figure told IQNA.
Abolghassem Raufian said with the Islamic Awakening happening in the region, the stage has been set for the elites and scholars of the Muslim world to initiate a movement for deepening Islamic unity and removing the obstacles on the way of unity.
He referred to unity as the most important issue in the Muslim world, noting that the Islamic Revolution of Iran has always been a flag-bearer of the unity and solidarity of the Islamic Ummah.
Secretary general of the Islamic Iran Party underlined that the enemies are worried about the Islamic Revolution because of its capacities to awaken nations and promote Islamic unity.
Raufian said Imam Khomeini (RA) stressed the need for unity in the Muslim Ummah and opposed anything that undermined Muslim unity, adding that Imam Khamenei also follows the path of Imam Khomeini in different areas including unity in the Muslim world.
He added that following the Divine-political will of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the guidelines set by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei as the charter of fraternity and unity of the Islamic Umamh can be effective in realization of the diplomacy of unity.
The political activist noted that the Islamic Awakening movement led to the fall of rulers who served the West and the arrogant powers.
This has provided an opportunity for the scholars and thinkers of the Muslim world to think more deeply about ways for strengthening Islamic unity, he said, adding that the first step that should be taken by Muslim world scholars is making use of this capacity to boost the diplomacy of unity.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Raufian underscored that Muslims in the world see unity and solidarity as the main strategy to solve the problems of the Islamic Ummah.
