Quranic Course for Women Planned in Kazakhstan

An educational course on recitation of the Holy Quran, Tajweed and Islamic Principles will be held for women in Almaty, the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to IQNA’s branch in Central Asia, the course will be organized by the city’s Grand Mosque starting from January 23.
Education officials of the Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs in Kazakhstan announced that the course will be presented in the Russian language.
Providing an opportunity for Russian-speaking women of the country to become acquainted with Islamic principles and facilitating memorization and reading of the Holy Quran for them are the main objectives of the course.
Aigol Abdul Rahmanov, instructor of the course, said that the classes will be held on Saturdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Those who manage to successfully pass the course will receive certificates by the religious office.
