Milad-un-Nabi Celebration in California
Milad-un-Nabi, Birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), celebration is going to be held at the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California (ICCNC) on Saturday January 26th, 2013.
The program will start at 5:30 pm with Maghrib Prayer and will continue with Dinning , Isha Prayer, speeches of scholars and other programs.
Dr. Rahim Nobahar, Islamic Scholar and Religious Director of ICCNC, will be giving the opening remarks and welcome speech.
Shaykh Zaid Shakir, co-founder of the Zaytuna Institute of Berkley, will be speaking about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his spirit of tolerance.
And Reverend Alexis Easton, Minister at the Brentwood Community United Methodist Church, will be speaking on Christian-Muslim Understanding in Christian Congregations.
