Dissemination of Islamic Culture in Cyberspace Stressed

At a forum on January 21, Pakistan’s religious scholars stressed the necessity of disseminating Islamic culture in the cyberspace considering it as the most important approach to be taken against Islamophobia.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, the program was held in Lahore, Punjab Province, with the participation of a number of scholars, intellectuals and eminent religious figures of the country.
Addressing the forum, Seyyed Riadh Hussein Mousawi, Pakistani scholar said that the culture of using cyberspace to get Islamic and Quranic information should be promoted among different groups of the society.
He added that precise planning, investment and training experts are prerequisites for dissemination of Islamic culture in the cyberspace which should be directed in line with realization of the objectives of the Islamic society.
Holding scientific forums and seminars on Quranic teachings and Seerah of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) are also other important measures can be taken in this respect, he noted.
The scholar further stressed that the true meaning of Islam is to provide tranquility and health for human being and added that the religion is based on love and kindness and is seeking to establish peace all over the world.
