New Cultural-Religious Complex to Be Set Up in Germany

The Supreme Council of German Muslims announced that a cultural-religious complex for “bonds among civilizations and thoughts” will be established in Berlin.
According to islametinfo website, at a meeting with Abdullah bin Abdul Muhsin Al-Turki, secretary general of the Muslim World League, Nadeem Muhammad Ilyas, head of the council, said that the new complex will cost nearly 10 million euros to build.
It will be established with the aim of promoting cooperation among followers of different faiths and disseminating the culture of interfaith dialogue and peaceful coexistence, he added.
Highlighting the importance of relations between European Islamic organizations and the league, he expressed hope that the league will continue its support for construction of Islamic buildings and promotion of dialogue among Muslims and followers of other religions.
