Grand Ayatollah Sistani Urges for Introducing Character of Holy Prophet (PBUH)
Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Al-Sistani in a message called on Muslims to introduce the character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to non-Muslims.
Issued on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birth anniversary, the message was read out yesterday in the Friday prayers in the holy city of Karbala.
Grand Ayatollah Sistani highlighted the need for development of relations between Muslims and Non-Muslims.
He said in order to promote Islam and Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) character, Muslims need to have interactions with scientific, cultural and media centers of the non-Muslim world.
He further called for moderation and respect for one another, saying that radical voices heard here and there should be ignored.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the grand source of emulation said Muslim’s anger over the desecration of the Holy prophet (PBUH) is not enough, but there needs to be efforts to promote Islam.
