Forum on Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) Planned in India
A forum on the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) Seerah will be held on January 30 in Amrai Gaon Village of Uttar Pradesh State, India.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, the program has been planned by Seyyed Mazhar Abbas and will be organized in cooperation with Udanama Newspaper.
It will be held on the occasion of birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) with the participation of a number of scholars and religious intellectuals including Mirza Mohammad Athar, Nayab Afham and Saleem Zaki.
Clarifying the objectives of the forum, Indian scholar Seyyed Mazhar Hussein said that desecration of Islamic sanctities today is due to lack of knowledge about Islamic teachings and principles and the Holy Prophet of Islam.
It is necessary to introduce the character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to the world and present the true picture of Islam and Muslims, he noted, adding that programs such as the forum can be effective in this respect.
