According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, the book has been authored by a group of Lebanese researchers aiming to investigate contemporary political jurisprudence of Shia school of thought based on experiences gained from various revolutions, particularly the Islamic revolution in Iran.
Ali Yusuf, director of intellectual studies section of the institute, who has written the introduction to the book, investigates the reason why jurisprudence of worshipping and trading or individual jurisprudence (injunctions for an individual) have recieved more attention than social jurisprudence or injunctions on social affairs.
The authors stressed that since the theory of Velayat-e Faqih (leadership of jurist) was proposed, political jurisprudence has developed so much that it has become a prominent field of intellectual studies in the world of Islam.
“Nature of Political Jurisprudence” by Hojat-ol-Islam Abbas Ali Mushkani Sabzevari and “Arriving at Political Jurisprudence” by Seyyed Sajjad Izadhi, Iranian researchers, are among the articles of the book.
