According to Al-Yawm Al-Sabi’ newspaper, the pavilion of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Dissemination and Guidance has exhibited Quran translations in languages such as English, French, Russian, Chinese, Korean, German and Greek.
There are also translations of the Divine book into less known languages such as Fulani, Amazigh, Hausa and Zulu displayed at the pavilion.
Making Quran reading and understanding easier for all Muslims, particularly for those who speak languages other than Arabic, has been cited as the main objective of translating the Holy Quran into these languages.
The 44th edition of the international book exhibition in Cairo began on January 23 and will continue until February 6.
