Fearing Islamic Awakening Behind West’s Islamophobia
Due to the spread of the Islamic Awakening, the West’s cinema is making more Islamophobic movies, though such moves will never get them anywhere.
This is according to Iranian filmmaker Saeed Ebrahimifar, who also told IQNA that the insulting works produced in the West have not received much attention even in the West itself.
“It is because the nature of art is incompatible with insults,” he underlined.
“Despite production of such (anti-Islamic) movies, we are witnessing in the West a growing trend of interest in Islamic arts, which is the first step toward getting closer to Islam.”
The filmmaker underlined that cinema activist are among those who, through their works, can confront the West’s insults and claims against Islam.
