Supreme Leader Visits Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (RA)

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei paid a visit to the mausoleum of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini (RA) on Wednesday.

The visit came on the occasion of the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) historical return to the country in 1979 after 15 years in exile.
Imam Khamenei recited Surah Fatiha (the first Surah of the Holy Quran) and paid tribute to the late founder of the Islamic Republic.
His eminence later visited the tombs of a number of martyrs in Behesht Zahra (Tehran’s cemetery) and prayed to God to bestow upon the martyrs an elevated position in the Hereafter.
