OIC Summit in Cairo to Discuss Confronting Desecrations
The 12th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will discuss strategies for confronting desecration of religious sanctities.
According to Al-Misriyun daily, heads of 57 OIC member states are due to participate in the Summit, slated to be held in Cairo on February 6-7.
Challenges facing the Muslim Ummah especially settlement building by the Zionist regime in the occupied lands and current conflicts in some Muslim countries will be among other issues on the event’s agenda.
Heads of Muslim states are also due to discuss development of political and economic ties and find ways for enhancing humanitarian aid to countries like Syria.
