350 Quran Teachers Training Courses Held
350 Quran teachers training courses were held in the country in the second half of the current Iranian calendar year (ends March 20).
Morteza Khedmatkar, who heads the education department of the Culture Ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy, told IQNA that over 10,000 individuals took part in the courses held in different provinces.
He said the courses featured Quran memorization, translation, Quranic concepts and contemplating the Quran.
According to Mr. Khedmatkar, the country’s prominent Quran scholars taught the training courses.
He underlined that the Quran deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance pays special attention to training Quran teachers and holding Quran contemplation courses for them.
