Status of Mosques in View of Islam Discussed in Pakistan

A forum on status of mosques in Islam was held by Anwar-ol-Huda School in Sitpur District of Punjab Province in Pakistan.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, the program was organized on February 1 on the sidelines of the construction project of Al-Qaem mosque in the region.
Hojat-ol-Islam Najm Al-Hasanayn, student of Al-Mustafa International University, addressed the program which was attended by religious scholars and intellectuals of the country.
Describing mosques as the main centers for religious education of Muslims, he stressed the necessity of building new mosques and maintaining them.
He also noted that more attention should be paid to promoting knowledge level of imams of mosques so that they would be able to address the needs of different groups of people.
